This week’s Good News from the Resistance: The good guy won! Only in this place and time would a candidate with a long history of fighting for civil rights just narrowly defeat a pro-slavery, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim, anti-gay, child molesting Bible thumper. But Jones did win. Why? Because over the last year, while 45 and his Inner Circle have been chipping away at our rights and stuffing them into their pockets, we’ve been organizing. Last week in Alabama The Resistance went pro. Indivisible, Woke Vote, NAACP and others showed we’re ready for 2018. Grateful that black voters – particularly women – showed up in force, resisters were quick to say Thank You. But we need to do more. Now let’s revel in our victory, and take a moment to watch Colbert’s Ballad of Roy Moore. And read more Good News:

WE THAT 45 IS AT 32 IN LATEST POLL
“Going below 30 percent kept Truman from seeking another term and going below 30 percent eventually drove Nixon out of office,” said a Reagan historian. “In the modern era, beginning with FDR, presidents get into trouble when they fall below 30.”
WE USA TODAY EDITORIAL BOARD FOR ABANDONING RESTRAINT
What’s your favorite line in this editorial? Ours has to do with 45 cleaning Obama’s toilet.
WE TELEVISED SENATE HEARINGS WITH COMPELLING CHARACTERS AND PLOT
Did you ever have a nightmare about showing up for an exam unprepared? For 45’s judicial nominee, that nightmare came true. And it was on TV.
WE DON JR. IN THE HOT SEAT
Alabama stole the headlines, but let’s not forget to feel sorry for Little Donny Jr., who had a grueling interview with the Senate Intelligence Committee. 9 hours? Do you think they let him take bathroom and Twitter breaks??
WE THIS WOMAN SCORNED
As a black woman in 45’s White House, many thought, “WTF?” Now she’s out, claiming she saw things in the WH she was “very uncomfortable with.” One thing’s for certain: Omarosa’s book deal will be more than adequate battle pay.
WE THIS JAKE TAPPER INTERVIEW OH OH SO MUCH
The only thing that could have improved this interview is someone throwing M&M’s, one by one, into Roy Moore’s spokesman’s open mouth while he pondered a truth about the Bible.
WE 45’s FORMER STRATEGIST ROGER STONE
He’s working on a book about 45’s removal from office, “writing it as we go along.”
WE ANITA HILL’S NEW HOLLYWOOD GIG
In 1991, during Clarence Thomas’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Hill described in shocking detail how Thomas sexually harassed her. He called her a liar. 26-years later, Hill’s been tapped to head up a new commission started in response to the wave of #Metoo allegations.
WE GOP NIXING 45’s BIZARRE NOMINEE
The GOP has never shied away from appointing foxes to guard henhouses. But 45’s nominee for a key EPA post went even too far for them.
